Cells are the building blocks of all living organisms and The Cells I See Art Contest wants to showcase their beauty, complexity and diversity. The contest is seeking the best images and artwork depicting stem cells or related cells to showcase at the Till & McCulloch Meetings.
Anyone in Canada can enter this contest—hosted by the Stem Cell Network and Commercializing Living Therapies—by submitting their entry to the Stem Cell Network by August 9th, 2023.
Past images have been featured in art galleries, science exhibits, magazine covers, calendars, postcards and websites.
Prizes
- Grand Prize: A cash prize of $750 will be awarded for the submission receiving the highest number of votes in the blind judging that takes place at the Till & McCulloch Meetings, which run from October 23-25, 2023.
- Peoples Choice Award: A cash prize of $500 will be awarded to the image receiving the highest number of “likes” in the ‘Cells I See’ Facebook photo album.
