Clinical Research Record (CRR) Instructor-led Training (Non-oncology)
When:
Feb 13, 2018 10:00am to 11:00am
Details:

The Clinical Research Record (CRR) is a web-based system that records important information about interventional research studies at UHN. Research teams add patients to the CRR upon enrolment and updates their status throughout the patient’s lifecycle. The CRR system sends this information to the EPR to alert members of the clinical care team that a patient is on an interventional study and allows them to view important study details (such as any contraindications or potential adverse events related to the intervention) so they can make the best decisions for the patient’s care.

This one hour training session will assure that staff involved in interventional clinical research studies understand the purpose of CRR, are aware of their responsibilities and know how to use the system.

Alternative Self-Guided Training:

Clinical research personnel can choose whether they want to complete the online module or attend the instructor-led training session. It is not mandatory to complete both.

For more information on the Clinical Research Record, please read the Clinical Research Record Policy.

This training is for non-oncology staff.

*For any staff member working on a prospective oncology study, CRR training is requested by emailing ClinicalTrials-PMH@uhn.ca. Staff must complete the in person training because staff are trained on elements of CRR that are only used within the oncology program.*
