Focusing on a signaling network implicated in the majority of human malignancies, my laboratory aims to discover, characterize and target the critical molecular nodes involved in human cancer. My research program is rooted in biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics in model organisms, as well as key partnerships with the experts in the areas of structural biology, protein turnover and clinical oncology. We strive for a comprehensive mechanistic understanding of events governing tumorigenesis and the delivery of knowledge-based treatments to the cancer clinic.
