Dr. Kazazian is a surgeon scientist at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. As a staff GI surgical oncologist, she treats patients with GI malignancies including rare cancers such as gastric and small bowel neoplasms. Unfortunately, many patients present with metastatic and advanced disease that is hard to treat and resistant to standard therapies. This has led Dr. Kazazian to pursue translational research aimed at improving patient survival through the development of more effective therapies.
