Dr. Inness is a physical therapist with expertise in neurorehabilitation and an Affiliate Scientist at KITE. Dr. Inness’s work has a strong focus on knowledge translation with an aim to optimize assessment and training of balance control for safe, independent mobility and to promote early and long-term engagement in exercise and physical activity after stroke and brain injury. She is the co-developer of the Community Balance & Mobility Scale. She contributed to the development of a clinical toolkit to support uptake and implementation of telerehabilitation, and reactive balance training to prevent falls. She is currently co-leading the development of the Stroke Aerobic Exercise Implementation Toolkit (START).
