Congratulations to PM Senior Scientist Dr. Frances Shepherd for being named an Officer of the Order of Canada and John Mulvihill, Chair of the UHN Board of Trustees, for being named as a Member of the Order of Canada. The Order of Canada is one of our country's highest civilian honours and recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. Dr. Shepherd received her appointment for her contributions towards improving treatment options and outcomes for individuals with advanced lung cancer. John Mulvihill was appointed for his voluntary service and philanthropic contributions towards healthcare.
