Susan Jaglal elected as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS).

TRI Senior Scientist Dr. Susan Jaglal has been elected as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS). Considered one of the highest honours for Canadians in the health sciences community, CAHS Fellows are recognized for their innovative leadership, research excellence and commitment to advancing academic health science.
The appointment honours Dr. Jaglal's research in rehabilitation health services, osteoporosis and chronic disease. She has published approximately 100 articles in her field—reporting findings that have advanced knowledge transfer and served to improve the utilization, appropriateness and effectiveness of health services.
Dr. Jaglal joins other UHN researchers, including Drs. Christopher Paige, John Floras and Charles Tator, in the Academy. She will be inducted into the Fellowship at the CAHS Annual Meeting in Ottawa on September 17, 2015.
