The Neuropathology Research Lab

Researchers at UHN will now have access to a wide range of services and techniques essential for neuroscience research through a new Neuropathology Research Laboratory (NRL).

These services, which include tissue processing, immunochemistry and quantitative analysis of neuronal tissues, are often time-consuming, elaborate and expensive for individual laboratories to undertake on their own. The NRL reduces the cost of performing these processes by offering valuable expertise and technical assistance. Researchers can also gain access to a bank of more than 500 brain specimens for reference purposes through NRL.
