PM Senior Scientist Dr. Tak Mak was awarded the 2014 Dr. Chew Wei Memorial Prize in Cancer Research from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
The prize is awarded annually to a Canadian physician or scientist who has made transformational and internationally recognized contributions to the fight against cancer.
Howard Feldman, the Executive Associate Dean, Research, for the Faculty of Medicine at UBC said of Dr. Tak Mak that he “…has created a fitting benchmark for this award, unequivocally establishing its stature among the most prestigious scientific prizes in Canada.”
