The Krembil Brain Institute (KBI) Researcher (PDR) Award is a one (1) year non-renewable $50,000 award to support the salary expenses of new or existing PDRs who have completed a PhD or MD program and are actively engaged in postdoctoral research in any area of research within the Krembil Brain Institute.

The Krembil Brain Institute’s Competitive Seed Grant competition aims to assist researchers to turn their pilot projects into successful CIHR grants. Applicants must outline how the funding and subsequent data will facilitate future tri-council funding successes. Additionally, grant recipients are required to participate in the internal peer review process, contributing to the overall funding success of the Krembil research community.
