October 2016

Welcome to the October Issue of NRx

UHN ResearchWith this issue of NRx, I am handing the research leadership baton to Dr. Bradly Wouters, the incoming EVP of Science and Research as of October 1. I have been tremendously privileged to help build research at UHN and am proud of what our many world-leading research teams have accomplished as highlighted in NRx over the years.

Under Dr. Bradly Wouters' new leadership, NRx will continue to feature top research from UHN's five research institutes: the Princess Margaret (PM) CancerCentre, the Toronto General Research Institute (TGRI), the Krembil Research Institute (Krembil), the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (TRI) and the Techna Institute (Techna).

To learn more about Dr. Wouters, read a recent feature of him here. I will remain at UHN to continue my research, which is focused on immunology and improving immunotherapy against cancer – and will also remain an avid reader of NRx!
